Up to 1500 words
One contest submission per writer. (But you can also submit one regular story/poem/excerpt to the magazine)

Note: The editors have combined the poetry and short story entries into one category. The best poem or short story will be the single winner.

Ellyn Wolfe’s career as a life coach, stress management specialist, and former corporate Human Resources director consumed her life until she escaped into retirement and breathed fresh air into her creative side. She joined a writer’s group, became editor and publisher of Straitjackets Magazine, and recently published her first book, a memoir, Grateful for the Color Blue: Surviving the Loss of an Adult Child, rated “5 stars” and “Outstanding” by Writer’s Digest Magazine. Her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Psychology are from Harvard.
